Lauren Perkins Allen is a trial attorney. Her passion is to be in the courtroom and dedication to representing clients and advocating for their interests. For over 20 years, Ms. Allen has handled complex litigation matters working diligently to secure verdicts and settlements on behalf of her clients. Ms. Allen has represented individuals, families and businesses allowing her the opportunity to work for both plaintiffs and defendants on cases. Her depth of clientele and diverse areas of practice set her apart in the Kansas City legal community.

Ms. Allen has received accolades from the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, The Missouri Bar and served as the Kansas and Missouri District Representative to the American Bar Association's Young Lawyer's Division National Council.
Ms. Allen conducts presentations based on her legal practice experience for associations including the National Business Institute, The Missouri Bar, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys.
Ms. Allen currently serves as the City of Mission Hills Municipal Judge and as a Lifetime Board Member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Foundation. In the community, Ms. Allen served on the Board of Directors for the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA) whose mission is to improve the lives of those impacted by sexual assault and abuse, and to prevent sexual violence in our community and SafeHome, a domestic violence shelter in the Kansas City area. She is a Member of the Society of Fellows at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and former Board of Governor of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys.
Ms. Allen graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She then attended University of Missouri School of Law where she was selected to represent victims of abuse through the law school’s Domestic Violence Clinic. During law school, Ms. Allen interned for the U.S. Attorneys’ Office in Kansas City, Missouri. Following her graduation, Ms. Allen served as a judicial law clerk for The Honorable J.D. Williamson, Jr. of the 16th Judicial Circuit. Since that time, she has been in private practice advocating on behalf of her clients.
Ms. Allen is also trained as a Mediator for civil cases in Kansas and Missouri. Her depth of expertise in trial work and knowledge of the courts along with her work for both Plaintiffs and Defendants is a benefit to any mediation.
